The process
Six steps, in order.
You always know who is doing what. Nothing is challenged on your file without your approval.
- 01
Free consultation
Talk with a specialist about whether credit repair actually makes sense for you. No cost, no obligation.
Before anything touches your file, you talk with one of our credit specialists about whether repair is even the right move for your situation. Ask anything you like. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you that too.
- 02
Report audit
We review your files from all three bureaus. Don't have copies handy? We'll pull them for you.
Equifax, Experian and TransUnion each keep their own version of your file, and an error does not always show up on all three. We go through every report line by line, and if you do not have copies on hand, we will obtain them for you. The bureaus also issue updated reports as things change, which is how corrections and deletions get tracked later.
- 03
Flag questionable items
Mark the entries you believe are inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable. One click is all it takes.
Once your reports are in our system, you go through and click the entries you consider questionable. You decide what gets challenged. Nothing is disputed without you flagging it first.
- 04
We start to resolve the conflict for you!
We challenge those items directly with the credit bureaus and the original creditors on your behalf.
With your flagged items marked, we open disputes with the credit bureaus and go straight to the original creditors as well. Every challenge points to the specific reporting failure, whether the item is inaccurate, outdated or unverifiable, so it cannot be brushed aside with a form response.
- 05
Bureaus investigate
Investigations typically wrap up within 30 to 45 days, and updated reports come back to you.
Once a dispute lands, the bureau has a fixed window to investigate and must send you the outcome in an updated report. Most investigations close within 30 to 45 days. Allow roughly 60 days for a full cycle, and keep copies of everything you receive.
- 06
Dedicated customer service
A dedicated specialist stays on your case from start to finish, answering questions and keeping you posted as your report improves.
Disputes run in rounds rather than all at once, so most clients work through several cycles. Through every round you have a real person assigned to your file who tells you what landed, what is still open and what happens next. Not an automated email you have to interpret yourself.
The waiting part
The honest timeline.
The investigation window is set by federal law, not by us. Anyone promising a faster guaranteed outcome is promising something they do not control.

Before you start
Three things most companies will not tell you.
The questions that matter most, answered plainly, including the one about doing this yourself.
Can I just dispute these items myself?
Yes, and we will say so plainly. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit file yourself, at no cost, by contacting the bureaus directly. People come to us for the follow through across all three bureaus and the direct creditor interventions, not because self disputing is unavailable to them.
What can actually be removed?
Information that is inaccurate, outdated or unverifiable. That means accounts that are not yours, duplicate entries, incorrect balances or dates, items past the reporting period, and entries a creditor cannot substantiate. Accurate, current and verifiable information cannot be removed from a credit report by anyone, including us.
Will disputing hurt my score?
Disputing an item does not lower your score, and our review does not involve a hard inquiry. Scores can move in either direction while the bureaus update your report, which is normal during the process.
